EPMA HIP Seminar

The EPMA is holding a new online powder metallurgy seminar and this time it’s all about Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). The seminar will zoom in on HIP and its growing importance in the manufacturing of complex and critical parts for the energy sector. Taking place in the mornings of March 8 and 9, this online event offers interesting presentations from both the industry and academia.

Paul Davies studied physics at Swansea University, Wales, U.K., and completed a PhD in the field of Material Science. He has five years’ experience working in the steel industry in the automotive and defense sectors and has been with Sandvik for more than 15 years. He specializes in powder metallurgy, with a particular focus on Metal Injection Molding and Additive Manufacturing.
