Eleonora Bettini studied Chemical and Process Engineering at Bologna University, Italy, and completed a PhD in the field of Surface and Corrosion Science at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. She has experience in corrosion-resistant alloys, alloy design for the development of new alloys with improved mechanical and/or corrosion properties. She has been with Sandvik for more than 8 years and the past 3 years she has specialized in powder metallurgy, additive manufacturing with a particular focus on Binder Jetting.

Paul Davies studied physics at Swansea University, Wales, U.K., and completed a PhD in the field of Material Science. He has five years’ experience working in the steel industry in the automotive and defense sectors and has been with Sandvik for more than 15 years. He specializes in powder metallurgy, with a particular focus on Metal Injection Molding and Additive Manufacturing.
