Superalloys for additive manufacturing and HIP

Our range of nickel-based superalloys has been extended by the addition of powders with extremely low levels of Oxygen and Nitrogen, making them especially suited for additive manufacturing and HIP (hot-isostatic pressing). These low levels are achieved through the use of vacuum melting as part of the gas atomization process.

World leading powder producers

For more than 15 years, we have been developing and selling our world leading gas-atomized Osprey® powders. We have nine gas atomization towers in-house (seven in the UK and two in Sweden) – and can offer everything from developmental batches of 1 kilo to 6000 kilos lots.

Particle size can be adapted to fit any printing technique, from 5 to 500 microns. Each particle has a spherical shape. This allows for optimal flow as well as tight and consistent packing.
